Please review the most recent 3 threads. All 3 of us are have bad responses from your server. I think I can speak for all of us when I say this is frustrating and way too time consuming. None of us are behind firewalls that I'm aware of. I think there are a lot of bugs with V4.2 and maybe we all need to go back to 4.0 which didn't give me any problems.
Are there any compatilbility issues with WinXP? I don't know about the others, but that's what I'm using.
What types of connections (cable, DSL, dialup) are the rest of you using? I have cable through ATT Broadband.

I am right in there with you! I use XP Prof and they told me to delete pics online that THEY GAVE THESE UNREAL LONG NAMES TO! THEN THEY TOLD ME TO BE SURE THAT NONE OF THE OTHER PICS I UPLOAD HAVE LONG NAMES AND WHEN I TRY TO DELETE THEM, THEY TRY TO SYNC AND THE SAME OLD FRUSTRATING MESSAGE. I NEVER USED 4.0, BUT IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN WORSE THAN THIS MESS. I HAVE STARTED SHOPPING AROUND. I DO NOT HAVE DAYS ON END TO FIGURE OUT AUCTIONWATCH'S PROBLEMS! MIR, DEBI

AND I AM COX CABLE. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THAT SABASIC WAS A RELIEF, BUT I AM. AND I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS EITHER. AND TO PAY FOR THIS AGGRAVATION IS UNBEARABLE. MIR!

debimir,
don't despair....I just went through the steps Radu gave me and it finally worked. How in the world I ended up with a picture with such an huge number/name is beyond me, though.
GOOD LUCK!

Just a reminder note to AuctionWatch:
I believe we are all using WindowsXP Pro. Maybe this is a compatibility issue. My problems all started with V4.2/WinXP/cable connection commencement. Since they all happened around the same time, I can't pinpoint it more specifically.
Debi, I shopped around before I signed up with AuctionWatch and I am not stuck to them. LOL However, I'll give it another day or two. I basically pay a la carte anyhow. I was very pleased when everything worked smoothly (back when I was using V4.0 and Win98....) **sigh**

izzy, thanks and cramer, too. I have hope. I love the listings i am getting, but I don't know where these looonnnggg names for the pics are coming from either. last week it worked like a dream. I have deleted the long named ones online, leaving auctions without pictures and still can't get the long named ones off of smpro. Even when I delete the program and reinstall, those darned ole long names appear from only The Good Lord in Heaven, Literally, knows. Help Radu, Help!!! mir to my new friends, debi

Cramer, if you are still around, would you share the email about how to get the log file from smpro with me at [email protected]. It would be much appreciated. Or Radu, could you send it to me. mir, debi

Hello Izaharris,
Please let us know if you are still getting error messages after each listing upload, so that we can investigate further.
Hello Debi,
We have slightly changed the way long names are processed, so please synchronize again now and let us know if you are still having problems, either when synchronizing images or when uploading listings.
