I am using Sales Manager Pro ON Tuesday I uploaded a batch and all but 4 items went on ebay just fine, 4 came back with this error message I uploaded another batch on Thursday and they were new listings and when they all had that same error message I tried to relist an ended auction and it had the same problem, ALL THE BOXES TO INCLUDE SALES TAX & SHIPPING ARE NOW CHECKED, HOW???
Error 726: Inconsistent Shipping/Tax You have specified shipping included in tax amount. Please enter Tax amount and Tax State.
The box is checked now & also in all my ended auctions when I try to relist them and I HAVE NEVER checked that box as there is no sales tax on coins and bullion.
I have contacted customer support and here it is Saturday and still no resolution to the problem. PLEASE HELP, DALE

Resubmit Auctions
Auction Manager is unable to re-submit one or more selected auctions. Possible reasons for this error are:
the listing is already scheduled to be launched
the listing has a pre-existing error state unrelated to availability of the auction venue
the listing does not contain complete data, or
the listing does not contain a valid template

Hello,
I got that auction to launch -- I removed the 0.00 from the sales tax box since you do not specify sales tax, and I deselected the "include tax on shipping" option. If you do that for the auctions in pending it should launch. When you are creating your listings are you editing the eBay checkout area at all?

Sonya, No the ebay check out is the same on all my auctions that are pending and my old auctions. However it is now letting me launch some of them one at a time if i go in and remove the check mark. on the ones below there is no check mark and it still will not let me launch them even with the box unchecked, will you see if you can get them to launch please, thanks

Sonya, all my ended auctions still have the box to combine sales tax and shipping checked. I just tried to relist some of them and they won't list even when I remove the check. I have about 700 to relist and certianly don't want to go through this with 700 items. HELP

Hi Shedelda,
The auctions you posted above, are those relists or new items? Did you change anything in checkout that might have prompted this to happen? Did you originally list with that box checked (did they have eBay checkout specified to begin with)?

The franklins were in the batch that listed tuesday of last week all of the batch listed fine but those 3 or 4. the others are items i tried to relist, the ended auctions somehow now have the box checked and it never was before. they listed right the first listing for instance the 50 some barber halfs that are now pending also with same error and won't list even when the check is removed. Yes Ebay check out has been the same for months, $2.50 shipping $1.30 Ins. Optional

HI Shedelda,
If you go into each errored auction, and click the copy button in the upper right corner, you should be able to list the copy of it. When those originally listed they had different settings on them which is preventing them from listing now. However the copies should launch -- they just won't list as relists, they'll act as if they were brand new auctions.

I will try that but don't understand different settings how? What settings are different??
It is set up in AWPro to list them the same as I have been for months. They listed fine the first time around so how would the settings get changed???

Hello,
Unfortunately I am not able to find out that information -- that is usually what happens when this error occurs. I will send a note to engineering to see what they can find out, in case a problem did happen when these listings originated.

Thanks it does work that way but is there any way to do more than one auction at a time? With about 700 this is going to take me forever!

Unfortunately there is no way, unless you set your checkout settings to reflect what they were when they were originally launched.

But my Ebay checkout settings are the same as they have always been that is why I don't understand????? In going through the pending auctions the way you suggested they do list but the strange thing is on some the box is checked on others it is not???? but they all have the same ole error message????

Hello,
I am unable to tell what has happened so I have asked engineering to take a look. When you relist, if you don't edit, it will relist with what it originally listed with. I will let you know what I find out.

Hi Shedelda,
I have heard back from engineering regarding this issue. When the items were originally launched, the "tax includes shipping" option was selected. That is why you have had problems with the relist. You must have a setting in pro somewhere that is adding this to your auctions -- I recommend checking your Pro preferences as well as any profiles you have in Profile Manager. Also, make sure batches you are uploading from now on don't have that checkbox set.
