I need to change my ID. It no longer (hasn't for a long time) has anything to do w/ my ebay id, my email or anything else. It was my email addy when I started using AW. It is still my auction watch ID. Which means it will be part of the store URL and I want it changed. Do I have to close this acct. and start a new acct. or is there another way? Thanks, Debra

Hi Debra,
Unfortunately there is no other way: you must close this account and apply for a new one. You must remove your auction site accounts and ask customer service to assist you when you place this information into the new account. As a side effect, all the data in your closed section will be lost, including PSM steps.

Thanks, that's what I thought. Right now I really don't have anything as far as auctions,images etc.
That I am not worried about losing. What I am worried about is the auction site (ebay acct.) info. If I remove from the current aw acct. and then re-open and go to add it. Will it let me? Or is going to tell me the ebay id, etc. is in use or ? Also, what about the AW personal, payment info associated w/ the current acct. None of that will need to be changed. Will it let me enter same info in a new acct.? I have contacted customer service and I am waiting for a response. I do want to get some listings posted soon. But, obviously want to have this worked out first. Thanks
We will probably have to assist you in moving your eBay ID from one account to the other. The other information -- your preferences, site specifics, etc -- you will have to set again in your new account. Let me know if you have any more questions about this.
Just send an email to [email protected] requesting your account closed, so you can open another with your new username. Our billing specialist will be able to close it out for you.
