The new paypal email format does not work with AW mailstep system. Is AW going to make some changes regarding this issue?

Hello,

Could you expand on this issue a little? What exactly is not working with what you refer to as 'aw mail' ?

Is this to say that the mailstep system is not forwarding you your notices from PayPal anymore, or not marking your items as paid anymore?

Also, when did this error seem to begin?

paypal usually forward a payment notication to my AW mailstep email. Then it updates that auctions as paid. It doesn't do that anymore. All this happen today. Everyone of my closed auctions that were paid on paypal did not update on AW post sale. I know paypal changed their payment notication email. Is this causing the problem? Anyone else having the same problem?

I posted on this a few days ago.

It seems all of Ebay's checkout coding has changed. Selecting "Paypal" on our preferences will not trigger the new Paypal function where it inserts itself on the top of a just-closed auction.

This doubly hurts those that deal internationally because Paypal now accepts four currencies. 25% of my business is international (perhaps more) and I'd like customers to be hit with the Paypal conversion possibility right off the bat.

I am getting e-mail after e-mail asking me if I accept Paypal. Also my snail mail payments is up %-wise. Some are just not asking and are sending payments.

Further, the gift option has completely changed. It is now $.25 with three different options.

This is not a little glitch. This is huge.

This is an example of e-mail I get all day:

Hey Fred,
I'm the winner of this auction. I went to pay just now, meaning to
use Paypal, but the only option I was allowed was Billpoint, which I don't
use. Any suggestions? I can always send a check, but Paypal would be
quicker and more reliable for both of us.

Hello,

Engineering is aware of the issue with the new PayPal email format and working quickly to resolve this issue. As soon as more information is available, we will post it to the most recent thread.

It's a week later and this doesn't seem to be resolved yet. I did not receieve any emails from Paypal regarding my auctions that closed today and the ones that have paid by paypal have not shown up as paid in SM.

It's great that it is working again. I just tested it by sending an email to my mailstep email address and it was properly forwarded to me. But what about all the email that we have missed since this has been down? Is it all lost?
