I have a suggestion, and if you know a solution I would try it. Last time I tried to delete half of my images, my auctions went a few days without images, and I lost a lot of bids.
About a month ago I sent a message about my images uplaoding at every new sync. I was told
"Please do not use images with identical names, but different upper/lower case. While AuctionWatch imagehosting will allow you to have 2 images files, named a.jpg and a.JPG respectively, for Windows they will be the same file.
Because of this, SMPro gets confused during image synchronization, and might download alternatively one or the other of the similarly named files. "
The problem is, during placement of images in my auctions, the program (SMP)crashes, and from then on, it wants to sync a whole bunch of the images again. And you are right, the images have upper and lower case descrepancies. Not caused by myself, but by whatever happens when SMP crashes. This takes a lot of time and bandwidth for me, as I am sure it does from Auctionwatch. Is there a way you could code out this problem? Such as converting all images to lower case on transfer, to not be able to have different cases. Just a helpful thought. Any other suggeestions for me to deal with thisthat will not cause my auctions to go imageless.

Hi Mike,
It might be easiest if you gave your images all different names. I can pass this thread to engineering to see what they think but to avoid confusion I would recommend naming each file uniquely.

All of my image names are unique up until the time SM-PRO crashes and the upper lower case get altered by your program somehow.
The part in my message about different names was a reply from Auctionwatch to a different post some time back.
My problem is not that I have non-unique names, but occasionally when SM-PRO crashes, it causes (upper case) (lower case) names to differ in case between my program and your server.
If your server and program kept everything lower case, this problem would go away. If others have the same problem I do there is a lot of bandwidth being wasted by this.
I am not really trying to complain but to offer a solution.
