Greetings.
I have used Ampro for about 18 months. My current version is 4.2 (build 1010). Now I'm having trouble syncrhronizing. Your server tries to download Holiday Templates that have previously been downloaded-with incredibly long download times (the timer on synchro window says 1 1/2 hours). I'm unable to upload any scheduled auctions because of this. Images are always uploaded separately to avoid problems. I'm using a sattelite service, at between 350 to 450 Kbps so my equipment is very fast. I regulary clear my cashe memory before synchronization. The messages from the server follow to the point the synchronization bogs down and just stops. IS THERE ANY WAY TO SKIP NEW TEMPLATES? I NEVER USE HOLIDAY TEMPLATES ANYWAY. Regards,

After my 4th attempt, the program finally synchronized. I would still like to know if there is a possibility in the future of NOT downloading any new template themes/changes to the program?

What older versions of AmPro will allow not downloading of the revised/new templates?
I may have some older versions saved and may try one of them in a pinch.

Hello metlman,
The synchronization of the custom template files has always been an SMPro feature. Normally, the download happens only once, as soon as the new template files are added. I'm not sure why your SMPro installation had to download them again; please let us know if it happens again.

Hi
I have a suggestion that may or may not help.
Why not try just to sync with out the upload. If you can walk away and let it do it's thing, you might be ok...
just a thought.
