ISSUE: Customer Management in SMPro adds the email address for every Winning Bidder just as I have it set to do - problem is it doesn't recognize existing email addresses already in the database.
EXAMPLE - I had a previous customer win three auctions recently and their exact same email address is now in my Customer List four times
SUGGESTION #1 - Please program the database to recognize duplicate email addresses and allow only one instance.
SUGGESTION #2 - In lieu of the above suggestion, provide a sort button similar to that on the date heading so we can manually (gasp!) sort and manually (sigh!) delete the duplicates.
This should be a simple fix and I'm sure it would enhance our customer relations in stopping multiple copies of our emails going out to the same address. That's enough to turn a good customer away and none of us want that!

Hi Sonya,
Thanks for logging this suggestion, but I wanted to pass on this may be a big problem for the higher volume sellers.
I'm a small seller and currently my Customer Management folder only has 232 customer emails listed. I decided to be proactive and copied the email addresses into Microsoft Excel - I then sorted them and found the duplicate addresses manually.
Out of only 232 customers, I found 17 duplicates - two of the email addresses were frequent buyers and their address was listed 5 times!
I live in Washington state, and the anti-spam laws are rigid and specific. I realize that AW supports anti-spam, but we are all guilty of sending "spam" in a sense when a single customer of ours multiple copies of the same email at the same address.
I know this is not the intention, but viewed from a customer or recipient's standpoint the customer is more likely to delete ALL of those duplicate emails.
Please do what you can to escalate this issue as it affects all of us sellers.
