I am using an older version (of Ampro) and am running into severe memory problems. I close down everything before running Ampro and that used to work until today. Now that it not working. Tonight was a nightmare. I got the shutdown message after every 5 or 6 auctions. Could my Ampro have become "sick".

What is the exact error message that you are getting?
You might want to do the following:
1. Go to the Windows Update site (you can reach it by clicking Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Check any updates which are available for your machine, especially Service Packs.
I spent the day trying to my computer back on track and downloaded the windows program you recommended still AMPRO doesn't work. So I guess I will have to uninstall and install the new version, just one embarrasing question. How do I uninstall?
