As a basis for this report please see my previous message thread ' AmPro will NOT install - - - HELP !!'
After more than a dozen unsuccessful tries to install AM Pro on my new PC, I believe that I finally figured what the problem was, and it was not my PC.
It seems that this program is very particular where it gets installed in your file structure. When I set up my new PC, I decided to have a file folder, named 'Auction Utilities' to place all auction software in. I had already put several other pieces of software in that folder, but AM Pro would not go there. After a dozen unsuccessful tries (-132 errors)to install Am Pro in that folder, I guess that I just got tired, and on my next install attempt, just let it load it into the 'C:\Program files folder', and got an immediate untroubled install. Not hardly believing my eyes, I now decided to uninstall the program, and reinstall it into another folder. Would not go. Tried the Program files folder, immediate install. I did this four more times, in various folders, and each time got a '-132 error', unless I let it install into the default 'program files folder'. I later tried this on another PC, and got the same results.
Maybe this is just unique to my houshold, but I bet not, and I hope this helps others that are having similars problems.
