I just down loaded the new ver. 4.2 and now am trying to synchronize the new ver. with auctionwatch. I keep receiving this message, "Synchronization failed - Bad response from server" Please help me.

Hello,

You were able to synch without error with your older version prior to the upgrade?

If so, there is no reason why this one would be any different. Try downloading the full version rather than the update, run the install over the copy you have now, then restart your machine.

I downloaded the full version, and re-installed it and am still getting the same error. Could this have been caused by me changing some of my information on the auction watch site and not with the SaleManager Pro (deleting images, changing address, e-mail information)?

Hello,

Are you using a proxy for your Internet Connection? Please make sure that the proxy settings are correct in SMPro; to check, please click the menu entry Edit > Preferences > Connection.

My ISP does not require the use of a proxy. I'm just on a normal dial up connection and am still getting the same message. I've never had this problem before. Any more suggestions?

Hi there,

Have you added any software since the last time you successfully used SM Pro, such as a firewall, virus-checker, pop-up blocking software, or Gator? These types of programs can can interfere with the syncronization process.
