Sonya,

Sorry, I posted this Originally with the Wrong Account

Thank you as always for answering my questions so quickly. I previously asked about the Fact that AuctionWatch isnt sendign the correct accepted payment methods to Yahoo. IE: I select Money Order & PayDirect as methods of Payment, but when it goes to auction, PayDirect does not Appear. This costs us .05 a listing to fix. This is something I see as a Major Bug. I was told 2 weeks ago that this problem is being "escalated to engineering".

Recently, I've discovered that AuctionWatch isn't pulling the Email address of a winning bidder into Post-Sale Management. You have to go the auction itself, log in, and manually enter the addy into AW. Isn't this a simple programming task of Parsing the Text?

So What's the Deal? We have a Separate AW account for eBay. We Set up this Account solely for Yahoo. Auctionwatch has its problems on the eBay side of things. But they seem worse for Yahoo. Is Yahoo just not a high priority for you guys? Should I just not be wasting my time and find some other way to handle Yahoo?

I'm sorry if this post is a little too much, but like I said, its frustrating. Thank you for Any Help you can give.

Hello,

The Yahoo Pay Direct issue just got fixed -- the fix went live yesterday, I didn't get a chance to update the other thread yet. You will see that it is now showing up if you do a Yahoo Preview on an item.

Regarding the email address issue you mention -- Yahoo sometimes takes longer to update. If you have a listing where the email address is not being pulled into post sale, please let us know how much time elapses from the close time to the email showing up. If you have one in your account right now, let us know the item ID number.

Yahoo is not a low priority with us. Keep in mind that in terms of listing auctions, Yahoo is much more complicated than eBay because there are many many more security checks so you always have to make sure you have updated information on both ends.

Regards,

Sonya

Cool, thanks For the Quick Response as Always. Also, thats Great News About PayDirect. Also Appreciated and I'll test that out in a sec.

As for the Email addy not being pulled, an example is Yahoo Auction # 72719953 . The email addy appears in the auction, but not in AW Post Sale.

Thanks once again
rahul
