Hi,

I am not sure what I am doing wrong here. I take Paypal for my eBay auctions and ONLY Paypal.

1. Even though my account preferences on AuctionWatch ONLY have "Paypal" check off as a payment method and my Paypal e-mail address is keyed.. when I create a new auction "other" is also checked off even though it is not in my preferences! I don't accept "other". Why is Auction Mangager Pro and Auction Manager insisting on checking off this box??

2. I have disabled AuctionWatch checkout, et my auction still do not show the Paypal logo or "Paypal" as a payment method at the top on eBay. It will only say "see item description". Why is my telling Auction Manager Pro that I take "Paypal" not triggering the normal Paypal logo and Paypal showing up under payment types at the top of my listings.

I keep having to revise my listings once they are loaded into ebay and manually checking off the "Paypal" box to get this to be added to my auctions. Very frustrating.

I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Hello,

I don't see the "Other" option checked off when attempting to start a new listing from your account. Try synchronizing Pro, then quitting and restarting the program -- let us know if the "other" option still shows up.

To add PayPal logos automatically to your listings, go to the "Payment Types Accepted" section of My Account -> Seller Preferences. Select "Include only the PayPal logo" or "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo" in your listings. If you use Sales Manager Pro these online preferences will apply to listings created offline as well.

Note that if you select "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo", eBay will insert a "Pay Now" button at the top of your closed listing. This button will take the winning bidder through eBay's checkout process (this option is unfortunately the only way that you can include PayPal in the list of payment options in red at the top of your listing.)

If you do not want to use eBay's checkout, and you would like to guide your customers to use your preferred checkout method, you can enable the AuctionWatch Checkout button which will appear in the listing once it has closed. For more information on this, please refer to this link:

Sonya
