I started a thread a couple of hours ago about difficulty with the Ebay new header information and SM Pro.
So I went to online Inventory to see if I should start my auctions there rather than the Inventory Manager in SM Pro which is manual.
In the online inventory, there is no place to enter the requested information (for DVDs: which region of the world is it for; its condition; category, subcategory and the override where you can sell some more as it appears at the top of the page.)
I thought I might be able to edit the auction when launch is tabbed but launching from online inventory does not allow for editing.
If the programmers could rig it so the Inventory Manager in SM Pro would not cancel the overrides, it would solve the problem (at least for DVDs.)
I know that if I move from IM Pro to batch and then save the batch, I won't lose the overrides (I don't think.) But then I'd have to find my items in various barches rather than have it centralized in IM.
And of course as it now stands, you can't cross merchandise from SM Pro. So you either lose the ability to cross merchandise or the ability to save the headers. No matter which way you choose to work, you lose something.
To add Item Specific information to your online inventory items, please open them for editing and click on the eBay "edit" link inside the Auction Information section (in the lower right corner of the Inventory Management page). The information will be preserved when launching these inventory items afterward.
