I have 13 items in a batch. All are fixed priced items with quantity of 2.
After importing the batch of listing into SMPro, it now tells me that it couldn't validate any of them and that I need to re enter all of their Fixed priced amounts.
I choose Batch Importer>>ebay, Fixed Price>>the .csv file>>Match up the fields ensuring I use the Buy Now Price field (i do not use the start bid field)>>Import....
It imports all 13 items successfully but when i then go to open that batch...they're all yellow and only the Buy It Now field is blank. When I open an item, it is asking for a "Fixed Price" ...
Why doesn't the importer ask for a "fixed price" instead of the BIN price if that's what it wants after the import anyway?
The procedure that you described is correct. The field you need to map is indeed named "Buy Now Price" inside the importer, even though the item editor shows it as "Fixed Price".
Please make sure that you choose the right source column when mapping the .csv file to SMPro fields. You might want to scroll through the .csv using the "Show record" control; the values in the column mapped to "Buy Now Price" should be greater than 0.
