Hello
I asked these questions in a previous post:

1. If I upload a batch from SMP 5.1 as an eBay auction scheduled to run the next day, go to pending and cancel the launch, edit each item putting it in my inventory and store, will that item show up in the inventory module as 1 available, 1 at auction and one in the store?

2. After I have launched, I set the promos in the inventory module, will those promos be available to the winning bidder, even though I choose the promos after launching?

Tara responded:
1. Are you going to launch?
2. I will check into this and get back to you.

Here is what I have discovered.

1. If you upload a batch from SMP 5.1 as an eBay auction scheduled to run the next day, go to pending, cancel the launch, edit each item putting it into inventory and the store, it shows up in the inventory module as 1 available & 1 in the store. The auction doesn't show.
If the auction showed, it would be perfect. However, as it is, it works well because all of your pictures are saved to each item in inventory. This eliminates the time spent doing two uploads from SMP 5.1 to get an item into inventory with the photos, category, etc.

2. I don't know yet. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Paula

Hello Paula,

1. That is correct, however, if you went to the inventory page directly and listed the auction from the entry now saved in here instead of from the pending section, it would mark one as being at auction as well. In this case, you could then delete the pending item.

2. The promo items will only be available to buyers on this item when you have listed it directly from the inventory page. The original, if listed from the pending section on the Sales Manager tab, would not display the promo items.

Christopher

Hi Christopher
Thank you so much! That is the exact thing I have been looking for!

Deleting the pending and launching from inventory would allow me to take avantage of the promos too!

WOW! You made my day!
Thank You!
Paula

Hello,

Online and offline inventory do not synchronize. To end confusion between that, and how Round Trip Inventory actually works, we eliminated that option. If you really want to put the item into your online inventory you can upload it as a store item with quantity in store as zero -- this will place it in online inventory.

Regards,

Sonya
