Every time I add a new folder in SMP Inventory Manager, SMP is shut down. It just closes. When I re-open it the new folder is there and all the files I imported are there...

Hi Sonya
I apologize for being such a brat but I really need the answer to the 3 questions I have posted! Especially the batch converter question.
On this one, No there are no error messages and this has happened every time I have added a new folder since I upgraded to 5.1.
I am always surprised because I will turn away or look in another window while the folder is being created and boom SMP is just gone.
I re-open and everything is there including the new folder, which I rename and continue working.
I have about 8 folders... is that a lot?
I appreciate your response. I am fighting at least 40 virus files I receive each day and trying to work... it makes one testy!

Hi Paula,
This is unusual, I have not seen it happen before. Eight is not a lot, do you have a lot of items in your inventory to begin with? Do you run other programs at the same time as Pro? If you do, try quitting them all and seeing if it happens when only Pro is open.

Please define a lot of items in inventory. I may have a couple thousand.
Yes, I do have other programs running usually my email client, a couple Internet windows, maybe a photo editing program. That is the usual amount.
I will try rebooting and only opening smp and see what happens in just a few moments. I hope that is not the problem because I NEED these open to list. I have a gig of memory so it should not be a problem...

Hi again
Ok, freshly booted nothing open... same results.
I opened smp; clicked on inventory; when it was done loading, I clicked new folder and after a few seconds smp closed. No error message, nothing.
Let me know what I should do next.
Thank you
Paula
