Hi, For the last four days I've ben trying to get my gallery image, back on my listing!
I've emailed ebay about six times, each time getting almost no help! Finally they sent me this message---Thank you for writing us about the difficulty that you are having with your Gallery image.
Charlotte, "Vendio" seems to be having some problems lately. If it continues, one solution would be to change your image hosting service.
One of our member's 'About Me' page has a list of alternative image hosting services that you may want to take a look at. The page is at:
http://members.ebay.com/aboutme/geekaw/-----
Then they tell me how to fix mmy gallery image---Which I had tried, over and over with no luck! I had been doing what Vendio told me to do, and every time I got a message from ebay-----The problem is:
Your image is in a format we cannot process:
http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/viewimage.x/00000000/cornercollector/08300003.JPG
Convert the image into a jpeg and repost to your web site.
I thought that was jpeg, anyway in Vendio instructions it says--
Make sure that you are not using the URL that contains /.mids/ , and I wasn't! I got so fed up, I used the URL that did contain the /.mids/, and my image went through!!
I don't understand! Can anyone explain this to me? This is so Frustrating!
Thanks, Charlotte

Hello Charlotte,
Unfortunately, most of the "help" you will get from eBay is to switch services, rather than address any actual issue you may be having. Had the eBay tech looked at the image you are trying to use, it would have been obvious (or should have been for someone doing eBay support) what the error is.

Hi Christopher CS,
I appreciate your help, but I still don't understand!
Like I said before, the only URL on that page, that I can find, with (imageserver) in it,is this one-------------------------------
http://imagehost.vendio.com/bin/imageserver.x/00000000/cornercollector/.mids/08300003.JPG---------- and it has the (/.mids/), in it! And the Vendio instructions say not to use that one!
Where are you finding the one you sent me, without the (/.mids/)?
I am going to the box of HTML, like Vendio said to! That's is why I am so confused!
Thanks, Charlotte

Hi Charlotte,
The .mids URL appears when you generate the HTML for an image if you have the 'click to enlarge' feature enabled. If you don't have 'click to enlarge' enabled, the /.mids won't show up. As long as you remove the /.mids from the URL you need to submit to eBay, it will go through.
