This PayPal issue has become quite confusing as to just what are we exactly to do in order to have a PayPal logo in our auction and have them launch properly through Vendio. Is it a setting/s we need to change in Vendio/eBay? Both? One?
Could you please post a FAQ or something that gives us exact instructions as to what to do and not so we can have successful launches and have the logo automatically inserted?

Hello mtporzellan,
The reason that it is so confusing is that there are several different combinations of preferences that will display the logo and/or the Pay Now button in your listing.
Please let us know specifically what you want - do you want the Pay Now button to show up when the listing closes, or do you *just* want the PayPal logo to appear in your listings? We need to know specifics in order to tell you which combination best suits your needs. Note that enabling the Pay Now button will allow your buyers to bypass the Vendio checkout.

I would also like a final recommended procedure to include the PayPal Logo and PayPal preferred in my listings.
Currently I have a "manual" paypal logo in my descriptions, but my active auctions do not have the PayPal preferred listing or logos added in the payment section.
My paypal preferences are set ALI "ON" and "PayPal preferred" is "ON".
The following message appeared on the last batch of Auctions I tried to upload.
"Error 11012: PayPal payment method not selected.
Unfortunately, eBay automatically changed your payment settings to include PayPal on all your listings as part their acquisition of PayPal. To clear this error, you need to change your settings at eBay by going to MyeBay, clicking the Preferences tab, and selecting 'Update payment preferences' under Seller Preferences. In the section labeled PayPal Preference, remove the check in the selection box next to "Offer PayPal on all my listings." When you resubmit your listing, PayPal will be listed as a Payment Preference in your listings, since you have already set this preference at Vendio. Contact us if you have any further questions."

Hi Metlman,
Based on your Vendio set PayPal preference, here is what you would need to select on eBay:
- Show Pay Now button for PayPal only (under PayNow Preference)
- Tell my buyers that I prefer PayPal payments (under PayPal Preferences)
What this will do is insert the PayPal logos in your listing and tell your buyers that you prefer PayPal as the method of Payment. When the listing ends you will get a PayNow button.
You can select these in My eBay under Preferences > Update Payment Preferences.
