I am currently trying to relist 3 items that previously had a higher starting bid but no reserve. This time I am going to try to relist them with a lower starting bid and a reserve. Every time I try to do it, I get this message:
Error 115: Reserve price too high.
Your relisted item's reserve price must be less than or equal to the reserve price set in the initial listing of this item.
I don't know how to fix it! Please help! Thanks, Genie

You may have to go to Ebay to relist the auction.
I have to do that on quite a few auctions that use BIN and pay immediately.
Vendio won't let me relist or edit those auctions.

Hi Livinjeans,
Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately, I tried that (didn't work) and I think I have found the problem. It seems eBay has some kind of rule (on a relist, anyway) that I wasn't aware of. They don't allow you to add a reserve that is higher than the reserve on the original listing. Since I had no reserve on the original listing, I couldn't add one. Seems kind of strange to me. So now I had to re-do the listings and launch them as new ones! Thanks again, Genie

You can not relist this item. You can only start a brand new listing for this item. Reason is very simple: sicne your initial listing does not have a reserve price (no matter what your starting price is), even if you put a $1 reserve price when relisting the closed auction, eBay won't allow you to do so because you had no reserve price in your initial listing, or in another word, your initial reserve price was ZERO. eBay's rule for relisting is that the relisted reserve price must be lower than previous one that was not sold. Hope this is helpful. You can relist this item without a reserve price and if the item is sold, you will get your second listing back, that is the only way you can relist it otherwise you have to start a new listing for this item.
