It seems Google is not pushing Froogle. Vendio store listing shows up very visibly on Froogle. Froogle is to cover the whole world of merchandise available for sale, if eBay is the solar system, the froogle looks like the galaxy.
Any substantial business increase due to Froogle? Your experience will be appreciated.

froogle is not being promoted because I believe it still is in Beta.
I personally don't like it too much and although I have used Google for years now I think it, too has declined in quality.
My favorite search engine now is www.vivisimo.com . Much more relevent info on there.
