Hi
I hope you respond to my last posting regarding html on another's post.
I am in my inventory module and trying to update my swimsuits. I attempted to change the eBay category on 28-0317-932Wrd. I was taken to a blank listing page not the category page.

Hi Paula,
I was able to successfully access the category tree for the item you are trying to edit in your inventory. Try clearing your browser cache and trying to access that page again. If this doesn't work please let me know.

I apologize for my grumpiness. I just get tired of trying to fix things. Then when a customer emails me and points these things out it is even more upsetting.
I will get you numbers for the auctions with red X's as soon as I get some items listed.
The category problem sounds like another intermittent problem.
I am editing my swimsuits. When I click on edit category on the second page, I am taken here: http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/inventory_edit_new.html
This is happening every time I edit a suit.

I think it is time to quit. I am trying to bring my swimsuits up to date and just got this message in my storefront template: Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /var/www/lib/php/v2/db.inc on line 686

An error occured while trying to display the template preview(Internal error 12002 : Template not found : store front template)
Then I tried to promote items and all the categories disappeared.
Am I the only one who experiences these weird problems?

Hi Paula,
There was a small, 15 minute outage at the time of those errors. It has since been fixed so you can resume your work. Try changing your security setting, let me know if this fixes the problem with your inventory category page reverting back to the new inventory item page. If you only have a few items to edit I would be happy to change the category for you, while we work this out.

Thank you for the offer of help.
The category problem seems to have worked itself out except for a couple of times today. The promote feature is still having major problems. Items disappear or it will "hic-up" and stay in the same place. This has been an all day thing. I just quit trying to promote items.
Now, I have 2 new problems... I am getting a bad response from server when I try to syncronize. When I try to import using the inventory importer, I am told my titles are to short because they are over 45 characters in length.
I syncronized a couple days ago to avoid this problem. Has SMP not been brought up to date?

Hello Paula,
You shouldn't be having trouble with titles, but if you're trying to import items with longer *subtitles* you will need to download and install the newer version of Pro.
As for the server errors and other problems, it sounds like you are having some connectivity issues. Are these still continuing as of now?

Thank you for the suggestions and responses.
The only problems that continue at this point are:
1 Promote items... still weird (problem stated before and has not been addressed.)
2 I realize that I "shouldn't be having problems with titles, Diana." but I am. I made an error in my last missive in saying short instead of long. Let me attempt to clearly communicate what is happening.
I import a text file into smp. I receive errors for every item telling me that titles cannot be longer than 45 characters. The titles I imported were 54 or 55 characters. I am not talking about subtitles. I am talking about titles as I stated.
I thought I had downloaded the latest update of smp but maybe I have missed it. However, I have synced prior to using smp.

I am back to the original oroblem at 2:33 pt on 3/26.
I was here http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/edit_auction.html and when I click continue I am taken here the same url
Please note that this page is being replaced by the "Create Listing" links on the left-hand side of the page. You can now create new listings directly from your main Control Panel. Please update your bookmarks accordingly.
This has happened 4 times in post sale/unsold items/relist. I choose the first 10 items. This problem has happened with #2896592363, 2896592295 & 2896592304.

Hi Paula,
Try clearing your cache and your cookies again. It looks like your inventory is hung up on this old page somehow. If you've already done this, can you try changing the category on another browser?
