I have 30+ items which have errored out today with the following message:
Error 5028: Invalid Value. (1388:23715)
Value given for "Subject 2" is invalid.
Note: this error may be related to the Item Specifics content you entered. Please review content in 'other' fields in the Item Specifics section for validity and number of characters.
Each item had a value in "Subject 2" when the item was first launched. The value was one of the values available from the pull-down menu.
After the items did not launch, Subject 2 field was blank. I chose a value and relaunched, unsuccessfully. After the relaunch there is a value in Subject 2. Again, this value is one available from the pull-down menu, not one invented by me or mispelled.
I gave up trying to revise these items after about 10 or so errored on re-launch.
This type of error means eBay is updating attributes -- please try resubmitting the listing again. If you continue to get the error, please list to another category and change it after it goes live. This is not a permanent solution, as this problem will cease to exist once the attribute update has been completed.
