Hi there,
I did download all the microsoft updates but the batch items are stil yellow when I open them and I am unable to save anything or copy the batch items. There is no option to save, copy or group edit as you had advised. These options are grey. We did all the validation and none of it saved.

Hi Kirsten,
Please select multiple yellow items, then click the SM Pro menu entry "Listing", then click "Edit Batch Listing" and enter the new values for category and, perhaps, Item Specifics. These values will then be applied to all selected items. It is true, though, that you'll still need to validate them individually afterward, by double-clicking and then clicking OK.
Please let us know about your progress. Please post to the same thread, as this allows us to follow up more easily.

I did as you say but the changes from the group edit will not save unless I validate the items first. I don't want to validate all the items again because it takes ages and I was not able to save the validation and this is what caused the error and the shutdown.

Just one more question Radu... Has ebay removed the sub categories for records? Is this why we have to validate the items? Also do they intend to put sub categories back? My latest search allowed me to search under sub categoy but my items are not listed under a sub category, just under 'records'.
The Records category was one of the categories that had many subcategories switched to item specifics. They most likely won't be changing back, you might want to contact them regarding the category changes if you have any questions about them.
