i have three scenarios which I don't know how to do:
Scenario 1
==========
I offered a customer to buy something with a "Second Chance" offer.
He responded with a BIN purchase.
He did not buy anything else from me.
I would like to add him to my Vendio. How can this be done?
Scenario 2
==========
What if this customer already bought two other items from me? How can I combine this new purchase with the 2 that are already in the system?
Scenario 3
==========
What if I'm selling this customer an item that is not from eBay (I sold him a car, and now I'm also selling him a spare tire, for additional money, but not through eBay) - how do I add this additional money to the buyer?
Scenario 4
==========
What if this sale is not eBay or auction related, but I would still like to have the customer's info on Vendio - hos is this done?
For Scenario 1, Second Chance offers can only be made on ebay at this time since we do not yet support the second chance listing feature. Once you make a second chance offer, you will need to import the item into Sales Manager. This way when it closes you can invoice the customer through Vendio, and add him to your customer lists (if that is what you were trying to do). The key is to import prior to the customer purchasing the item.
For Scenario 2, if you were to follow the import method explained above, you would be able to combine that purchase with the other two made from your customer. You would click on Post Sale, then click on Combineable Items, and your winner should show up with all three auctions able to be combined.
For Scenario 3, you can only process items in post sale if they were bought at auction or through a Vendio Store. If you make an independent transaction that isn't through these methods, you would need to take care of the post sale independent of Vendio.
For Scenario 4, if you were subscribed to Customer Manager you would be able to add anyone's information into your customer database. Other than that, the only way to retain information for a customer is if they purchased something from you through an auction, or through a Vendio Store, or if you had the mailing list option available for people to sign up and that customer signed up through it. I checked your preferences and you have the mailing list feature activated, so if someone signs up for your mailing list through the Enlarged Image page you would be able to locate them in the free Customers tool in Sales Manager.

O.K., I understand your reply.
So now, I have to play a "fast finger" game with the buyer, hoping that he won't take advantage of the second chance offer before I import him into Vendio?
This doesn't sound very logical or convenient to me.
Also, why not be able to add buyers from other sources to your system, thus turning it into the ONLY software I use for sales, whether from eBay or any other source?

You won't have to play a fast finger game with the buyer. When the second chance offer appears on ebay is is posted as an entirely new auction with a new number the bidder won't have access to until they get their email on it from ebay. The auctions post immediately upon ebay issuing the acceptance form to you with the new number on it at the end of their submit process. Just track it into vendio as soon as you finish submitting it to ebay and you'll have it before the customer gets notified. Another thing that works is assessing interest from the customer in advance and telling them you will let them know the ebay number for the offer as soon as you submit it and to await your email to them to purchase--that guarantees you get it tracked in first.

Well, that's all nice, but still creates extra work and hassle.
Also, why don't you allow me to add buyers from other sources to your system, thus turning it into the ONLY software I use for sales, whether from eBay or any other source?

The functionality might be more limited for the smaller auctioning companies/systems. So I added your idea to suggestion form and ensured that it went to our product team.
