I just downloaded it and I don't think they did anything to help with the lack of inventory control. I was just hoping they would add a checkbox for "Save to Inventory" so it would automatically save to the online inventory when it was uploaded, they didn't even do that.
The changes on the image bar are nice though. Good job there, too bad you're not listening to your customers and their need for inventory control.

What kills me is SMBE HAD inventory tracking. I still use it as my primary auction software just for that reason. I have far to many of the majority of my items to not have inventory tracking. Why oh why does the program they stopped supporting almost 2 years ago have it, and their favored program does not????

I have posted here repeatedly asking for inventory control. The only conclusion I can draw is that Vendio wants to cater to customers who sell unique one of a kind items. That's fine. But those of us who need inventory control will one by one find different solutions which do not involve Vendio. I am sorry to say this because, frankly I like the feel of the Vendio system, the eye appeal, and let's face it, I am used to it. But I need inventory with the Windows client, not on line.

I'm a new product manager at Vendio and now work on Sales Manager Pro, I would like to say Vendio does indeed value your input. With each new release, we try to deliver those features that are most requested by users. The new features in 6.0 address the most requested features to date: greater listing capacity and improved scalability. As for inventory control, we do hear your need. As we create the requirements for the next release, we will take into account your feedback as well as feedback from other forum postings, surveys and other customer contact. So keep letting us know what you think. I look forward to hearing all your comments, and to helping make Sales Manager Pro a better product for you.

Hiya chuckie
Well, Vendio does not listen to our needs, I have asked also for them to REPLACE the one click..."add to inventory" feature
for years now, they had it already, they took it away from us.
does that sound like a company who gives a rats patootie about our needs.
I have even offerd to pay for it. Hey every one...wouldn't you pay 5 bucks for that feature per month, I would.
My smpro6 or whatever it is called has two very annoying but petty problems with it...
I can't edit a listing after creating it, I have to close the batch then re-open it, this is slowing me down, I often have to go back in, I know,I know, do it right the first time<grin>
and after an edit is allowed and I click out I can't go back in unitl I close the batch and re-open it.
the second little bug is when I click my cursor to place it in my tmeplate, it jumps to the bottom of the page ALOT, like every 9 out of ten times, I usually have to place it in place two or three times, VERY annoying...not serious but annoying
I think after all these years using your program, I know how to move a cursor into my template(by template I mean my notepad HTML, not your template>
anyone else have these petty problems or is it just me, and is it part of the program, or is there something I can do from this end to fix these kinks
We are working on a fix right now for the problem concerning opening Pro when you have a lot of imagees in your account. Stay tuned, we'll post when we have more information.
I have forwarded all comments about the desire to have the 'save to inventory' checkbox back in Pro to Product Development. Thank you for your feedback.
Dudlee -- we are testing the edit batch listing issue you mentioned. Regarding the cursor problem, how big is your HTML template -- like how many characters?

not big,in my opinion,a couple of font tags,a couple of center tags,a few
<p>'s and a bunch of words,I don't use images or wallpaper or anything fancy, real simple.a couple of links were added tothe standard text you add to each auciton for me, would that do it?....they are new clickable links, could they create a problem....if they are I will lose them quick, because every third listing I end up typing a sentence or two twice, that is a lot of time at the speed I type
thanx for your help
any word on the edit problem, I still haven't learned to get it right the first time....<grin>

Hello everyone,
We've released a new version of SM Pro (version 6.0.1) which resolves the issue with images initialization. For those of you who have a large image directory and are having trouble opening the application, please try downloading the new version from our website and reinstalling it over the 6.0 version on your computer.
Please let us know if you continue to have trouble after doing this (note you should restart your computer after installing the updated version.)
