Hi,
I have my old email address showing in ebay somewhere. It shows up on step four when you go to relist. I no longer have the account. I have called Paypal and done everything they suggested twice. I have changed all of the email address with Vendio, Paypal, and ebay. I have changed every thing I can access but the old address keeps showing up. I don't have time to go into revise on every auction I list. I no longer have access to the old email. I don't want to have to email people 3 or four times and have them cancel payments and redo it. I just listed another auction using the ebay form just to see if I can get the information out of the system. Any suggestions. Could it be hanging around in the Vendio system somewhere?
Liz
We have heard from numerous customers who are experiencing a problem with PayPal payments being submitted to the wrong email address despite the email address stored on our site and in eBay preferences being current. We believe that this is the result of a glitch on eBay's side where the wrong email address is stored in your account in an area unrelated to preferences.
Unfortunately, since the problem is with eBay's system, in order to work around it, you will need to go to eBay and launch a 'test' listing. When you create the listing, you will have the opportunity to change the email address stored in step 4 of the listing process. Once you update this, and launch the listing, your PayPal address should be current. You will only need to launch one listing from eBay's site as long as you update the email address during the launch process.
