I sell mostly record albums and 45's on E-bay. when I combine purchases I charge a additional .50 per item to ship. Customers tell me that checkout won't let them change the shipping amount in checkout. Also when shipping overseas I e-mail the customer with the amount to ship to there country. Is there a way to allow for the customer to input the correct shipping amount in checkout?
Buyers cannot enter their own shipping costs during the checkout process, but you can setup your checkout tools to offer discounts on additional items in an order. From the My Account tab, click on the Global Preferences link found within to find the setup for shipping discounts.
On cases where you find out the cost for your international buyers, just click on the PSM keys in post sale for this item and edit the WBN itself to offer that amount during the checkout process.
