I have had several auction with the wrong picture since using the updated version of SMP.
The problem is with the new brows button that saves the extra step of adding the picture to the listing after transferring it.
If the file name is the same as one that already exists, it just adds the picture already at Vendio and doesn't tell you.
Since I use names and sometimes they are the same as an old picture.
Is there any chance this will be fixed or do I have to go back to the old way?

The reason this is happening is because when you delete the images they aren't deleted instantly. They are still floating around on our servers and so when you use that name again, our servers poplulate the original picture.
You'll have to delete the images and wait for them to be completely gone from our servers, or rename the images you so they dont conflict with the between the two.
We're sorry for any inconvenience on this issue.

It doesn't have anything to do with deleting images.
It is if I happen to have a new one named the same, it just uses the old one and doesn't tell me.
If I add the picture like you had to do before then add it to the listing, it will pop up a message that it is already there.
Are you uploading your images with previously used file names online, or doing this in Pro? When you open up Pro are you synchronizing before you add images to an auction? Also, what setting do you have for synchronization where images are concerned -- do you have Pro set up to not download Standard Images during synch, and do you have Pro set to upload images as required in batches?

Sonya

It problem is inside of pro.
If I use the browse button, and the image happens to have the same name as an existing image then it just puts the old image in the auction instead of poping up a message that it already exists.

Hi there whatnot3,
You are correct, there is a problem with this function. We have tested from here and confirmed that it is not working as expected. We will fix this as quickly as possible, but in the meantime you should be able work around it by not using the Browse button. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
