Hello,
What does the run-time error say? Please let us know as much as you can about this error. You might need to try uninstalling/reinstalling SMPro to fix it, but do let us know what the error says.
Regards,
Sonya

I get a time run error 0 - funny lines go everywhere and it locks up.
Can you send me a link to reinstall?

Hello,
You can uninstall Pro through Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel folder. To reinstall it, if you don't have the kit on your computer anymore, you can download another one here:
http://www.vendio.com/my/client
Make sure you put it in the same directory as your current one. Let me know if you continue to get the run time error.

Sonya

Hi
I did the above and it worked for a few listings and then I started having problems again.
Today I tried again and as soon as I go to put in the category - it goes pooh and disappears. Then a minute or so later I get the illegal operation error.
Also, once I leave the title line - I can't go back and add or edit anything.

Hello,
Thakns for the update. What is your OS, your ISP, and the type of internet connection you have? When you leave the title line and can't go back and edit anything, does your screen freeze up or can you move your mouse around? Please be as descriptive as possible, I will escalate this issue.
Regards,
Sonya

I have IE & Windows 98, Comcast High Speed Cable Connection.
With the title line - everything else if fine - it's just like the I've used up all the alloted space?
Thanks

Hello,
What other programs do you have running in the background while in SMPro?
Try disabling/exiting/closing anything you do not need to be connected to the internet and try again. Especially any popup blockers or antivirus or internet security type programs. It is possible that either one of these types of programs is blocking certain functions within Pro, or that they are simply taking up too much memory and not leaving enough for the Pro software to function properly.
You can typically exit these other programs by right clicking on the icons down by your clock (lower right corner.)

Christopher

OK I'll try that but I never had to do this before.
Also I tried it again and it took 10 minutes for the initializing images to finish.
I think there is a really bad problem with this SMPro

Hello,
1. Please go to the Windows Update site (click Tools > Windows Update in the Internet Explorer menu). Install the critical updates and Service Packs the site recommends, especially those for Windows and Internet Explorer.
2. Install also Visual Basic 6.0 SP5 Run-Time Files. The link to this kit is:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98Me/EN-US/VBRun60sp5.exe
3. If the program is still not working properly, please uninstall and install SM Pro again.
Please let us know if this helped fix the problem.
