I'm having recurring problems with my SMPro software. I am using the latest version, 6.0.2, which I have installed twice now.

At the beginning of the listing process, when I select a site for listing, and type of listing, (Ebay, Auction), I am unable to proceed further than that. Once I hit OK, instead of being taken to the next screen which lets me start inputting my listing information, I get a message saying "SMPro is unable to execute this operation.

On the occasions when I am able to proceed, when I get to the part where I have to choose a listing category, I encounter another problem. When I hit the search button to pull up the menue of Ebay categories, the entire SMPro program shuts down instantly, and I lose all of the information that I have entered.

This is a recurring problem. It is not constant, but it happens often enough that I need to solve the problem, or else I'll have to drop Vendio, and look elsewhere.

Hello,

To help resolve the problem you have described, first uninstall the current version of SM Pro that is on your system and then reinstall it again.

You may use the Add/Remove Programs Wizard in Windows to uninstall the application. You do not need to worry about saving your batches and images as these will be retained, however, you may want to copy the batch and images folders to a separate location on your hard drive if it will make you more comfortable with this process.

Once you have uninstalled SM Pro, you will need to reinstall it. You may use the install kit that you used before if it is still on your system, otherwise, you will need to download the install kit again (please be sure to select "save to disk" when downloading.) Before you begin the install process, please be sure to close any open applications you might have installed on your system.

Once you have reinstalled the SM Pro application, you should be able to run it without error. If you are still experiencing problems after uninstalling/reinstalling the application, please let us know.
