I have sold on ebay for 6 years. I have a good background in photography. I, and others, have noticed for years now that dark red (even purple) objects often appear fuzzy or blotchy when they show up on ebay. The pictures can look beautiful on the camera and on my computer. But when I look on ebay my photos with rich red colors, they are almost always bltochy and fuzzy!? Is this an issue that vendio can correct or is it ebay's problem? I would like to hear other people's opinion on this issue. Perhaps someone has a tip to edit photos with red/dark rich colors so that they don't show up this way on ebay. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Sonya, thanks for the reply; I apologize for my slow reply. A good example is auction #7131019564 that I posted that just ended. Look at the red color on the catalog in the photo. The red is blotchy and fuzzy. When you click on the image to supersize it then it looks fine!?? I only have this happen on red colors, and I notice that a lot of other people have that problem too? I don't know why with red? I have gotten the same results whether I take the photos with a high or lower resolution. Very odd. I look forward to your reply. Thanks
It is probably looking compressed because it's downsized as a clickable version on the front page. I will check on this for you to see if there are any other suggestions we can make to avoid this.
