I pretty basic question. I have been away from Ampro for a few months due to an old computer and the program stopped running. Now I want to install again and am rather cautious about installing anything. So I have gotten as far as the first step in installing. I get a screen that says "Run, Save or Cancel" which one do I want and what
s the difference between run and save? Is there a way to check for viruses and whatnot before I download or unpack or whatever the proper computer term is? I have Windows XP Professional/512

Hello Elaine,
When you click to Download Now, use the Save option. When you click save it will ask where you want to save it, and I would suggest saving it to your desktop so its easy to find and install once the download is complete.
As long as you are choosing to download it directly from the Vendio site you will be ok as far as any possible viruses are concerned. Otherwise a lot of antivirus programs will check the file automatically once the download is complete.
