I am trying to list items to Ebay. I have downloaded the new version of Sales Manager Pro. I don't list any shipping amount in my ads. I wait to get the zip code from the buyer. This is the message when I try to complete the listing:
The following problems were found:
You must specify at least one US shipping carrier
Vendio Checkout requires at least one valid shipping option.
Please select a valid insurance amount to use with eBay fixed shipping.
Please advise as I don't use Vendio Checkout. How can anyone know the correct shipping if the pkg. is over one lb without the buyers zip code. This is preventing me from listing items.

Hello,
Here are a few tips on how to list without specifying any shipping costs on the listing form.
First, be sure the automatic WBN and Vendio checkout options are disabled on the Basic Information tab:
Second, go to the eBay Site specific tab and click the 'Payment Instructions and Details' button near the bottom center of the page.
On the popup window, check the box to indicate that you are not specifying the eBay shipping and payment details:
Last, on the 'Shipping Information' tab and be sure there are no shipping carriers selected (checked) or insurance options checked, as you will be adding these later:
Regards,
Christopher

I have done all of the things listed above and still get the same message:
The following problems were found:
You must specify at least one US shipping carrier
Vendio Checkout requires at least one valid shipping option.
Please select a valid insurance amount to use with eBay fixed shipping.
This is preventing me from lauching any Ebay listings tonight which is losing money for me and also for Vendio.

Also, on mine it requires that I enter an amount for insurance although my Global is set to leave blank to use calculated rates. Won't let me save anything.

Would it be advisable to list online using Sales Manager Pro or would there be the same problem?

Hello,
If you went online and did your item in Sales Manager, you would be ok. If you were using Pro while logged on, it wouldn't matter you would still get the error.

I finally figured this one out. It won't let you use flat rate shipping and calculated insurance together. If you use flat rate shipping then you also have to enter a flat rate insurance amount.

Sonya or Christopher, could you check my failed listings? Only a couple failed and I don't know what the difference was between them and the ones that worked. I tried relaunching one and it went right through so I have no idea what is going on.

Maybe?? you need to synchronize SMP close it and reopen it?? just a thought. Had to do that for something else after changing things at Vendio, In fact I synced twice just for good measure then all worked at fixing the settings in SMP

Is this problem going to be resolved soon? It is more problematic putting in incorrect information and then explaining it is the fault of the template than what it may be worth to try to sell these items that require after auction shipping amounts!!!!
