This is the second time this has happened. I "batch" items by date. They usually run on 7 day auction. If they don't sell, I go back to that batch and change them all to STORE listings. I have uploaded STORE items in a "new batch" and SAVED the dated batch. When I close the dated batch and reopen it...the items are BACK to AUCTION???!? Makes it look like I never switched them. Hope you understand this.
How are you converting the items into storefront listings from auction items?
Typically if the items are already in a batch format, to list the items as eBay store listings Vs auction items you would have to recreate them since you can only specify the type of listing prior to creating it.
Unless the items are in your inventory and your creating a new batch of items from those original inventory items.
The easiest way to relist items as store listings would be to relist them from the closed section of the Sales Manager and edit them prior to relist to switch them to storefront format.

Basically talking about editing OFFLINE
When I use SMPro..I create auctions and save them in BATCHES...on my computer. These batches, I date, so I can go back to them in 7 days and edit the items that did not sell. I reload them them AS STORE ITEMS.
Example..I open batch #011006..find the items that did NOT sell and I change the LISTING TYPE from AUCTION to eBay STORE (which is right under description title). I also change price sometimes. The title of the box is EDITING BATCH LISTING TITLED ******. I press OK (which saves it, and go to the next items. When I am all done editing the items in this BATCH, I SAVE it.
The PROBLEM is after I close this batch and open it again...ALL the items REVERT back to the ORIGINAL DETAILS(BEFORE EDITING)...that would be auction, price, etc.
THERE IS PROBLEM...because if you do this to ONLY ONE or TWO items at a time and SAVE the batch...it works! It is NOT HANDLING the multiple editing and saving!
I do this to keep track of what is currently selling as auctions and what is in the store. I DO NOT RELIST ONLINE. WITH 1,000s of items, I NEED TO DO THIS IN MULTIPLE ITEM SESSIONS.
"Unless the items are in your inventory and your creating a new batch of items from those original inventory items."---DO NOT USE INVENTORY FEATURE!
"The easiest way to relist items as store listings would be to relist them from the closed section of the Sales Manager and edit them prior to relist to switch them to storefront format."-----THE WHOLE IDEA OF YOUR VENDIO PROGRAM IS THE ABILITY TO FUNCTION OFFLINE!....My method should show the items SWITCHED to STORE ON MY COMPUTER...

Hi, I am running version 7.0 build 1369.
Seems to work fine IF I change (save as..) the name of the batch. It is still occurring when:
I open the batch to edit...& I also open a "new batch" to drop and drag the newly formed store items into. The dragged item in the new batch are FINE (they save and upload ok). The EDITED batch SHOWS MY CHANGES and when I SAVE...as is(no name change), and close it...then reopen it...the changes are NOT there. I can get used to the changing of the batch title(add a letter or something), but I hope you understand that there is SOMETHING (bug) in the system causing it not to work properly.
The problem I was having , is that I was saving the EDITED batch and just deleting the NEW BATCH. Because sometimes the edited(original) batch would have 50-100 items that I may not have to edit..just save as is. And then trying to find out the ones I DID EDIT..was a pain.
