I HAVE TRIED TO CHANGE MY SHIPPING INSURANCE RATE WITH THE USPS FROM $1.30 TO $1.35 (IN THE " GLBOAL PREFERENCE AREA "WHICH DOES NOT TAKE WHEN I AM ON SALES MANAGER PRO
THEN I TRIED TO CHANGE IT ALSO IN THE VENDIO " GLOBAL PREFERENCE AREA " TO HAVE IT SET TO USE " CARRIER RATES " SO IT WILL REFLECT THE $1.35 AND CHANGE WITH HIGHER AUCTION WINNING VALUES SINCE MORE INSURANCE IS NEEDED FOR MORE EXPENSIVE ITEMS WON... YET WHEN I SYNC AND I GO TO USE SALES MGR PRO - STILL SHOWS THE $1.30 ON THE 3RD PAGE (WHEN I CLICK FROM THE 2ND PAGE TO " PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS AND DETAILS " )...
I REDID IT AGAIN TODAY AND STILL NOT SHOWING CHANGES ON SALES MANAGER PRO .. I HAD 450 BIG TICKET AUCTIONS END 2 DAYS AGO AND BIG MESS TRYING TO GET PEOPLE TO PAY INSURANCE AND CORRECT AMOUNT FOR THEIR ITEMS
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG- PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT MY ACCOUNT -WORKING ON BIG BATCH OF EXPENSIVE ITEMS AND DONT WANT PROBLEM TO KEEP REPEATING..
Try to create a new listing from scratch in the SMPro software again, as I just synched my copy to your account and the insurance rates on the 'payment instructions and details' tab just says 'optional.'
The tab your referring to is for the eBay checkout. If by change your using an older version of the SMPro software, note that there is no longer a place to store online a separate cost for insurance in the eBay checkout as there was on older versions.
Upgrading the software would eliminate the issue if you do happen to be on the older V6 program.
