Hi again,
I have tried Vendio and cancelled and tried and cancelled twice in the last year.
Last time mainly due to total confusion about billing. But, at that time you also didn't support the new store categories in SMPro and I love offline listing.
Does the newest version support the 300 store categories? Is there anything it won't do that the Vendio online lister does?
Thank you for any help as I really need an online listing service and Vendio used to be the best. I could list very quickly with SMPro.

On April 3rd Vendio released our initial Sales Manager Pro support for the recent eBay Stores Category expansion. If you have already imported your eBay Stores categories into Vendio, they will now appear in SM Pro. This enhancement makes it possible to select the per item eBay Stores category while creating new batch listings.
To prevent the need for a new client version of SM Pro, the implementation has two small limitations. First, the dropdown menu in SM Pro only displays the leaf category you selected at eBay and not the entire category tree that shows the upper level categories. Second, there is an internal SM Pro ID associated with each leaf category in the dropdown menu that is NOT also the eBay category ID. For example, if your eBay Stores category is “Shoes > Red”, SM Pro may display it as “Category 23 - red” in the eBay Stores category dropdown menu. Again, “Category 23” is the internal SM Pro ID, and “red” is the leaf category that you selected at eBay and imported into Vendio. A future SM Pro client will enhance the usability of the new eBay Store category selection.
Also note that if you are using Sales Manager Pro and have not yet imported your eBay Store categories into Vendio, please follow these steps to do this now:
# Login to Vendio, and click on the My Account link at the top of the page.
# Click on the ‘eBay’ link under the Site Specifics header.
# Scroll down to the eBay Stores Categories header, and click on the link to update your categories.
After updating your categories in Vendio, your existing Sales Manager Pro version will display these categories in the eBay Stores Category dropdown menu after the first sync.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns about this.

Thank you Nathan.
I wanted to be sure before going trying again.
I'm not sure what you mean. Can you explain it using my categories.
Ex: I have Postcards as a main category, US States as a sub and then each state as a 3rd tier.
Can I use SMPro to get to the third tier?
And, is it set up where I can just enter the Ebay category numbers for the store? I have those printed in front of me and that is what I do now (much quicker since I use 286 of the 300 available categories).
I also use the 2nd store category for each one. Does SMPro support the 2 store categories?
i realize I could probably just download it and set it all up and try, but I need to activate the Vendio account (again) which has my main Ebay ID and before I do that I want to be sure it will work for me.

I went ahead and updated the stores, reinstalled SMPro and checked it out.
But, There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the numbers you assigned my categories. I can't tell what is what.
Ex: I have category Vinyl Records. Sub Categories 45s, lps and 78s, and third tier is exactly same genre for each type...country, rock, pop, easy listening etc. (in other words I have country 3 times...one for 45's, once for lps and once for 78s). In fact I also have a category for Tapes and have the same categories again for each type tape...Cassette, Reel to Reel and 8-Track. So I actually have "country" as a 3rd tier category 6 times.
And, my first category under postcards is Aerial Views...but you have them way down after the states listings. How did you assign the numbers?
I can't tell which "country" goes with which type of recording.
Is there a place where I can see the entire list and copy your numbers so I will know what I am trying to match up? That would really help. Otherwise, I can't figure out what category is what
As I said, I have 280+ categories in use and I really need some help with matching these to your numbers.
