Hello mmnc

eBay has discontinued support for certain javascript functions and HTML 'tags' in auction listings. These may cause errors on launch if you have any disallowed javascript or tags in your listing descriptions or in default text. If you are receiving this error, please check the following:

1. Check your default text (located under My Account -> Custom Listing Text) for any javascript Paypal logos. If you are using a javascript logo, we would recommend you remove it from your listing text.

2. Check for any 'meta' tags, or 'base href' tags. These have been disallowed by eBay and can result in error 353.

3. Certain words followed by parentheses have been triggering this error. For example, the line "....wish to replace (we generally..." triggered the error in one of our test listings. eBay has identified "replace (" as part of a Javascript command. You might want to try going through your text and replace parentheses () with brackets [].

Please write back if you are unable to find the javascript or HTML that is causing the errors.
Best regards,

Vlad

Hello,

One more item to note: it's the word "cookie" that eBay doesn't like in your current pending listing.

You can leave it in the title of the item, but in the description field change the word "cookie" to "coookie" instead.

I know it seems silly, but otherwise eBay thinks your trying to use some sneaky JavaScript code to do things you shouldn't.

Regards,
Christopher
