In writing new listings today when I used the preview tab, it was completely blank ~ absolutely nothing there. Thought maybe a minor glitch so saved listing & synchronized but still the same. Then I went to my templates to change to a different one & they are all gone ~ another blank page.
HELP !!

Hello,

It is possible that the DHTML library files are no longer properly registered
on your system. Please register them again:

Go to the "c:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Triedit" folder.

Register each of the DLL and OCX files in this directory:
- Right click on it
- Choose "Open with..."
- Click "Choose program..."
- Click "Other"
- Find regsvr32.exe. It is in your "Windows\system32" folder
- Click Open.

Once these files are registered in Windows properly, the preview function should be restored.

Regards,
Christopher

Hi Christopher,
Thanks for the prompt reply. I tried your suggestion however, my options on my Dell w/Mircosoft XP are different. I DO NOT have an 'other' option under 'choose program' but the following: Adobe, Clip, AMPro, Internet Explorer, Excell, Word, Quattro, QuickTime, XML Editor, etc., plus more that I did not think would apply. Is there another way to get to the regsvr32.exe in the Windows\system folder?
Thanks again, Shirley

Hi Shirly,

Try instead to locate a 'browse' button rather than an 'other' option.

Christopher

Hi Christopher,

I tried with the 'browse' button & found the regsvr32.3v3 in the system32 folder & did the open. However, after rebooting, neither option of previewing the templates or previewing the listings works.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks, Shirley

Hello,

Try it once more. When you do, note which files are in that directory.

Are you seeing a total of 3 files that you reregister or only two?

If only two, let us know which 2 are there currently.

Christopher

Hi Chris,

There are 2 files in the Triedit folder as follows:
dhtmled.ocx
triedit.dll

Thanks, Shirley

Hello,

You are missing the DTCRT.DLL file from this directory.

You can download the missing file by clicking here.
Save this file in the same location, and register it using the directions above.

When finished, restart Windows and try again. Let us know the results of your efforts.

Regards,
Christopher
