We have over 1000 auctions that have been completed in SMP. We would like to make some changes to our global preferences that will add wording to our Terms & Conditions, etc. Will the completed (unsynced) auctions pick up the changes and more importantly will the auctions need to be adjusted, changed or in any way need to be edited (i.e. when auctions have the yellow highlight to them). We cannot afford to changes made to over 1000 auctions.
Secondly, we would like our shipping charges to show up on ebay along with the gallery images and title in the standard ebay pages. Please let us know how we can do that.

Hello,
Changes that you make to your Custom Listing Text fields will be picked up automatically when you post your items. (as long as your using a regular template that uses the custom listing text already.)
Synch the SMPRO software and preview one of your items prior to launch to confirm your Custom Listing Text changes were picked up properly.
If you do not currently display your shipping costs for use with the eBay checkout - the place to enable this is on the Site Specifics tab in your listing. Click the 'Payment Instructions and Details' button at the bottom of the tab and check the box labeled 'I AM specifying eBay shipping and payment details.'

Hello Eric,
I think the area you are referring to is here:
Shipping, payment details and return policy
Services available
Check item description and payment instructions or contact seller for details.
Ships to
Worldwide
Is this correct? If so, that is because you have not selected ebay checkout to show on your listings, which triggers ebay to place this in their payment details area.

Hi, I found Christopher's reply to the question: "We would like to make some changes to our global preferences that will add wording to our Terms & Conditions, etc. Will the completed (unsynced) auctions pick up the changes and more importantly will the auctions need to be adjusted, changed" very interesting. I have changed my shipping mark-up and insurance costs for shipping via USPS and it is never picked up by my older items. Neither are changes made in my custom text or my Payment Instructions & Return Policy (there is an error in this that I corrected. You can see the error in two of the examples below (alsoforward was changed sometime ago to forward.) Here are some of the items that I haven't individually updated: http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/inventory_edit_new.html?inv_id=537372969 - http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/inventory_edit_new.html?inv_id=617242758 - http://wsacp.vendio.com/my/acp/inventory_edit_new.html?inv_id=902838002
What have I been doing wrong?
Thank you.

Hello Paula,
Your talking about area's that there are fields for in the listings themselves, which means the changes need to be made to those items prior to relist.
Your global preferences for the payment instructions and shipping markup will apply to anything you click to create from scratch going forward, but you will need to edit older listings prior to relist to make these changes.
