I was floored today when I started receiving payments. I see you posted on the 24th that the rate calculator in checkout was giving incorrect rates (you said the issue was fixed but below is another example from 2:00 this afternoon)....exactly what is Vendio doing to supplement the seller that is now out alot of $$

Example. I have a 10LB package going to NY 10001 from Pa 19560 the ACTUAL cost is $7.45 using UPS worldship system (which does not include the fuel surcharge) and DOES NOT include my $1.90 packaging markup which I have set in my preferences...which should make a total of $9.35 BEFORE any fuel surcharge imposed from UPS....the rate calculator on my auction is showing $9.35 and when the customer checked out it showed $7.43......SO I AM OUT $1.92 ON JUST THIS PACKAGE.

So not only is the checkout incorrect but so is the rate calculator on the auction. The rates for UPS are not exactly what they should be

Will Vendio be contacting my customers to let them know they owe more money???
I feel thats fair, why should I feel like a jerk doing it...or else loose a bunch of money??
Either that or will I be receiving a credit on my next months Vendio invoice?? I feel compensation is due since the service I pay for did not work as advertised and not only did it not work, it cost me money by using the service

Hello,

What is the item number/s in question where this has happened?

We will have to check into it further before responding.

Regards,
Christopher

Hello,

Ok, we dug a little deeper on this issue for you and see that the wasn't in fact any error in this postage.

The part you (and I) missed when figuring the cost for this item was that the buyer selected during checkout that this is a COMMERCIAL address.

Your right in that the base cost for residential was $7.45, but the base cost for commercial addresses was only $5.53 - which makes sense given that Vendio charged your buyer $7.43 - the exact total including your $1.90 markup.

Sorry for the confusion, as I did miss that part myself when troubleshooting this earlier. So, good news, no losses to absorb.

Regards,
Christopher

I was not aware that the customer had the choice of choosing Commercial. I would like to know how to remove that choice....because that gives the oppertunity for ANYONE to use that feature and if we are not paying attention to the submitted shipping amount we could be getting ripped off all the time~~

Hello,

UPS requires you to indicate if the item is being shipped to a commercial location or not.

Would it be your suggestion that we add an option to stop buyers from entering a commercial address during checkout?

(im not 100% on how the system could check for that, but we'd be more than happy to pass along the suggestion on your behalf.)

Regards,
Christopher
