I have a really BIG problem.
When customers are going through Vendio checkout....apparently you are allowing them to select a COMMERCIAL address
WHY???? WHY???? WHY???? DO THEY HAVE THAT OPTION ON EBAY???? UH.... NO!!!!
People aren't stupid...of course they are CHOOSING COMMERCIAL...they know they will get a reduced rate.
Here is an example. On my auction, this customer puts in their zip code 06106 and is given a UPS ground price of $8.46 (which is correct with my $1.90 markup)....but when he goes through VENDIO checkout you are letting him select COMMERCIAL which gives him the total of $6.55 (less than the quoted price on the auction!!!!)Thats just stupid, if he was willing to pay that...then so be it!!!!
We basically force everyone to use our Vendio checkout...only to get ripped off (MAKES SENSE????)
I am loosing about 2 bucks on every transaction that this happens on.....THIS GUY DOES NOT HAVE A COMMERCIAL ADDRESS!!! I already shipped, since he is in CT it is only 1 day to him from PA and infact-UPS has already backcharged my account for the extra $$ on my bill this week.
I have been watching this for weeks and enough is enough!!
If there is not a way to fix this, NOW~~ I am going to close my Vendio account that I have had for about 8 years, I am not going to keep eating this $$. I have staff to pay and packaging to pay and the bidding on ebay isn't what it used to be, so I am not going to continue using your service if it is ripping me out of even more $$
I would appreciate a fast answer. The last question I had wasn't answered for a week....not very optimal customer service to say the least
This option had been added to our service as it was previously not available, and we had received many requests from other sellers to allow the buyer to select that they have a commercial address.
If this is causing a great deal of problems for you, you might want to consider switching to fixed shipping costs, which are not effected by the commercial option.
I have also passed your suggestion along to the product manager for evaluation. Perhaps we can add an option to your account so that you can block your buyers from selecting the commercial address option in the future.
Regards,
Nathan
