New computer is with Vista. I have problems with completing a listing, and I did do as suggested, finding the answer in the questions. I have downloaded Sales Manager Pro several times, as it keeps saying it is not fully initiallized, so when I try to uninstall it, it won't completely delete out. I did download all and transfered all before I found your question, so I think now I need help to completely uninstall this and redo, but how, since I keep getting the message about not being uploaded correctly. I did get one listing done, and how I snuck it in I don't know, as I thought I had it fixed. Someone please help!

Hi Christopher
I still don't have it working correctly. Keeps shutting donw on me. I have Vista Home Premium - not business. When I try to unistall this it tells me the file is corrupted, and won't completely delete the file, so I can start fresh again. I loaded like any normal program the first time not thinking about the os being different. So I tried to unistall it with no success. The directions I did find were the directions "Is Sales Manager Pro compatible with Windows Vista." But I had already downloaded imagesand preferences. Now what, as it keeps shutting down saying it has a problem! Help!!
Skip trying to uninstall the program for right now.
1. Download the SMPRO software, opting to save - NOT run from its current location.
2. Create a new folder on your C:\Users\Yourusername directory, it doesnt matter what you call the folder.
3. Run the installer for the SMPRO software. When you get to the part where it asks where you want to install the software to, click browse and install it into this newly created folder in your Users directory.
4. When done installing, uncheck BOTH boxes to view the read me and launch the program.
5. Restart the computer.
6. Right click the SMPRO icon, and check the box to run this application as an administrator.
7. Launch the software. - When asked, say 'NO' if it asks if you want to download your images and preferences.
8. When the program is done loading, click the Preferences button along the left side of the page. Check the box at the very bottom of this window that says 'Do not download standard images from Vendio image hosting' and save the change.
At this point you should be able to synch without error.

Hi Christopher
Still not working....setting up the file, and when you download, wants to stay attached to the Vendio. Losing my patients, as I have had Vendio/SM Pro for
years. Why isn't there an easy patch to use or a download for Vista. I will try again tonight. Wish me luck.
