We have a large number of images in our Image Account approx. 3 GB and recently our Sales Manager Program stopped sync ing when we took images from our recyle bin and put them back into our account.

How do we fix this problem?

Sales Manager is just stopping with no error messages. When we restart Sales Manager, it just keeps doing the same thing.

We ended up deleting alot of our images we had stored, just to try to get the program to work; but it is still doing this on another computer.

We have too many images to completely remove the program and re-install, we also lost alot of our images when Sales Manager failed because we had no way to launch our auctions because everytime we try to upload a batch, Sales Manager wants to check all 3 GB of our images which is also very time consuming.

Can you put our images back into our account that had to be deleted due to your problems on 6/26. We would like our images back into our account that were deleted since this date. We had images in our account since 2004 and 2005 that we can not get back. Please restore our image account back to the way it was before the big problem on 6/26. It is really affecting our business, as we do not have photos in our auctions.

Thank you, ExpertWeb

Hello,

Unfortunately, if the images have been deleted from your account and removed from the Recycle Bin it is not possible to retrieve the images.

For the problem that you are having with Sales Manager Pro synching your images, there may be a problem with one or more of your image files.

In order to diagnose which image file(s) are causing the sync error, please try the following:

1. After closing all batches, click the "Synchronize" icon in the lefthand toolbar.

2. Click the "Details" button after synchronization starts. This will give you a detailed log of which specific images and/or preferences are being synchronized.

3. When the synchronization halts, you should see an indicator in the details log that will tell you which image file halted the synchronization process.

4. Once you have the image file name, try deleting it from the image bar in SM Pro. Repeat this process until all images are synchronized.

You may upload the image(s) that were halting synchronization directly to our website using the Image Hosting page, and then reimport them into SM Pro after they are online. This way, those particular images will not need to go through the synchronization process.

There are several reasons why an image file may halt synchronization, but most commonly it is due to excessive image size, invalid image format, or corrupted image data. You might also want to check the security level on your browser, anti-virus software, and/or firewall software, as these can prevent image downloads as well.

Please let us know if you continue to have trouble with this.

Regards,
Nathan
