i just installed the latest version of SMP. When starting up the SMP, An error msg is found:-

Run-time error'5';
Invalid procedure call or argument
-----------------------
please help!
The error you're reporting may be related to the regional options you have set. Please make sure that you are using English (US) regional option in Windows. You can check this by going to Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Regional Options. Locale should be set as "English (United States)" and Language should be "Western Europe and United States".
Once you have reset your regional options, start SM Pro and go through the Startup Wizard, then synch. If you are still having trouble after doing this, please let us know.

I double checked the regional setting, but still got the same error msg. I am using Windows XP Pro SP2.
Any advise?
Based on the error message, switching to the english version should have corrected the error.
When you checked, is that what Windows was already setup on?
Try also checking your firewall software to be sure its allowing the SMPRO software to run. If it has a list of safe programs, be sure to re-add it now that you have upgraded. Sometimes these programs will put in blocks after an upgrade since they don't recognize it as the same program as before.
