In most of my auctions, I have USPS Priority calculated, and USPS First Class fixed as available shipping options. When I attempt to edit the checkout details it only lists First Class fixed as an available method. Why doesn't the calculated Priority option also appear? Is that also what my buyers see, or do they have both options available during checkout? Am I doing something wrong?

Hello? Anybody out there?

Hello,

When you are editing these items, are you doing so while they are live and editing the eBay specific checkout section?

eBay will only show the first International shipping option you have listed in their own checkout section, which is what your buyers would see if they were to use the eBay checkout system. If your buyers check out from Vendio, they will be able to choose from any/all available options listed in your ads.

Christopher

I am not editing anything while the auction is live, nor am I attempting to do anything with International shipping options.

After the auction has closed, the buyers more often than not pay through PayPal without completing my checkout. So, I manually put that information in so it will display at the main page of the Fulfillment Checklist. When I click on "Edit" in line 2 of the Fulfillment Checklist, the only option provided is the USPS First Class Fixed domestic shipping, but not the USPS Priority calculated domestic option.

Yet, when I click on "Edit checkout and WBN" on line 1 of the Fulfillment Checklist, both options are checked and the correct amount is displayed for USPS First Class Mail (fixed) in the US shipping section.

The only way that I can select USPS Priority (calculated) has been for me to go back and edit the WBN to remove the USPS First Class (fixed) option entirely, then the Priority calculated amount displays when I attempt to edit the checkout. I suspect this is also a problem for my buyers, and the reason why so many no longer complete checkout.

It has now been 7 days since my more detailed description of this problem...and I have yet to see a response. Is this being looked at?

Hello,

In your closed section, if you click on the PSM keys for item '160146070290' - then click to 'edit wbn' you can verify that both First Class and Priority mail are options to choose from.

Next, click to edit step 2 for the checkout details. Next to 'Shipping Carrier' - click the 'Select Shpping Method' drop down menu and check to see what comes up for you.

When I checked, it was showing both your fixed First Class option as well as the Calculated Priority Mail option. Are you seeing this as well? (and if so, and your only running into that error with a particular item/s, let us know of a specific item number to check into further with you.)

Christopher

That is exactly what I see on #160146070290. However, this morning, the buyer for #160135083673 paid thru PayPal without completing checkout. When I went to enter the data, there was no drop-down menu and First Class was the only option available from the "Edit" function in line 2 of PSM. So, I went back to "Edit WBN' in line 1, and found that both Priority and First Class were checked. I had to de-select the First Class option for Priority to appear so that I could select it when editing checkout.

Hello,

The next time that this happens, please let us know the listing number before you correct the problem. This way we will be able to see exactly what you are seeing, and we will be much better able to look into this for you.

Regards,
Nathan

If it's possible for someone to look at this promptly, completed auction 160146906090 is an example of the problem I've described. It is not yet corrected.

Hello,

It sounds like its specifically an issue where your buyers have gone to checkout from eBay directly, and then have the items marked as paid via the PayPal IPN where you run into this issue.

Please visit your 'Post Sale Acceleration' page and uncheck the following preference:
"Automatically complete checkout process (Step 2)"

This will stop the system from automatically selecting a shipping method for you and marking the checkout completed when the payment is made, rather allowing you to manually complete step 2 for buyers that pay and checkout outside of your Vendio checkout system.

Regards,
Christopher

THANK YOU!! I will de-select that preference, and let you know if the issue continues.

Hello,

Maybe I changed it for you, as it was checked when I was in your account earlier taking a look at your settings.

Sorry about that, I usually leave that unchanged so the seller can become more familiar with the options.

Christopher

Alrighty then!
I'll wait to have some completed auctions where the buyer doesn't complete my checkout, and see how it goes. Thanks Christopher.
