I have 2 problems trying to get my items to show in ebay's search.
1. When I put in fixed price shipping, I can't close the listing. I get the warning that says "You must specify at least one calculated rate shipping carrier" I'm still calculating international so why does it warn me of this?
2. On one I launched and then checked the shown shipping was wrong - I had put $5.00 flat rate priority and 1st class calculated (because I could not close until I put something in there) It came up $5.56 shipping on ebay search?

Hello,
1. I checked the first pending listing in your account "VINTAGE CLOTHING". It is currently setup with calculated shipping. Please do provide the name of a specific pending listing that is having the problem that you have reported (and is set up with fixed shipping), so that I can take a look.
2. When you listed this item you set it up to included calculated domestic shipping for eBay checkout. So the active listing is showing the calculated shipping in the eBay section of the listing. You can only specify one or the other for eBay checkout (either all calculated domestic shipping or all fixed domestic shipping). For future new listings, be sure to only use fixed or calculated shipping (rather than both). If you are using calculated shipping, then select "calculated" from the drop-down box in the main listing form below "Domestic Shipping" in the "eBay Shipping and Payment Details" section. If you are using fixed shipping, then select "Fixed" in this section.

Nathan

I don't have anything in pending with this problem at the moment as I'm still working in SMPro and haven't launched yet.
I can't ship everything for the same shipping - some needs to be calculated or I'll overcharge my some and under charge others. Is there no way to do this.
Now if I use calculated shipping it puts all my listings at the bottom of the searches. This is not fair to me or any other seller who lives on either the east or west coast and doesn't sell the same thing (or type) over and over.
What can I do - drop Vendio? I've been here 8 or 9 years and I don't really want to do that but if it cost me sells - I may have to. Isn't there someway to fix this?

Hello,
Please upload the listing to your Vendio account (but do not launch it), so that I can look at the listing in your account. Then let me know the name of the pending listing so that I can look at it.

Nathan

OK I uploaded one to launch in a few hours. That's all I have the heart to do right now.
I'm calling it a night after getting nothing done all day.

Hello,
Is it the listing "Flapper Dress Accordion Pleated Nylon Halloween Sz SM" that you are providing as an example? The reason that Sales Manager Pro forced you to enter at least one calculated shipping option for this listing is because you selected the option that you were specifying calculated shipping costs for eBay checkout. For future listings you will need to change this so that you are specifying fixed shipping costs for eBay checkout (if your future listings are for fixed shipping). You can make that change for a listing in Sales Manager Pro by going to the "eBay Site Information" tab. Then click the "Payment Instructions & Details" button. Then select "I use fixed shipping rates" rather than "I use calculated shipping rates".

Nathan

OK if I change everything to fixed shipping, can I change it in the SMPro listing to be calculated if I need to?
The Dress launched but if you find it in the ebay search - it's listed as shipping for $8.85? I had it as $10 flat and calculated for 2 lbs. Where is the $8.85 coming from?

Hello,
That listing has the same problem that you had with listing "300162773352". You selected "Calculated" shipping in the "eBay Shipping and Payment Details" section.
You can change any listing at the time that you create it to either fixed or calculated shipping.

But where is the $8.85 coming from? I don't have that anywhere in my listing. Cheapest amount comes up first - isn't that correct?

Hello,
Assuming you are referring to the pending listing that you had me look at yesterday evening (if not, then I need to know the listing number) you included both fixed and calculated shipping. But, again, in the section where you specify shipping costs for eBay checkout you chose to specify calculated shipping. So the calculated shipping showed in the listing. You would need to select fixed shipping in the "eBay Shipping and Payment Details" section in order for fixed shipping to show in the eBay section of the listing. Have you been able to locate the "eBay Shipping and Payment Details" section in Sales Manager Pro?

Nathan

Yes I found it.
I changed everything to fixed in My Account so it's showing in SMPro now.
If I want to calculate (only) do I need to change it manually in SMPro each time?
I'm not going to worry about what's already listed now - I just want to get something set up that works for me now.

Hello,
When you want the listing that you are creating to have calculated shipping, then you will need to make sure that it says "calculated". When you want the listing that you are creating to have fixed shipping, then you will need to make sure that it says "fixed". If you have changed your default to "fixed" and it is showing "fixed", then you will need to manually change it to calculated if you are creating a listing that is calculated.

Nathan

OK thanks for all your help. I never worried about all this before and it never hurt my sells but with this new search I've lost so much business I must worry about it now.
Thanks again
