with several thousand items in the store, if I were to change my SITE PREFERENCES only - will the items automatically update when they are RE-LISTED?

well...changed my site specifics on Vendio. Tried to load a couple of test auctions to see if the new refund policy and payment instructions were there...NOT!
If you relist an item that did not contain the return policy when it was originally listed, then you will need to edit the item prior to relisting. The Return Policy can be entered just above the Shipping Carrier section on the listing form.

Nathan...I CHANGED my SITE SPECIFICS for eBay. It shows the refund policy, but when I load a new auction...it does NOT appear???
For Sales Manager Pro it is not possible to add the Return Policy at this time. We will likely be making a change soon (once this is mandatory) so that the default Return Policy will automatically be added when a listing is launched. In the meantime, you will need to upload the listings to your online account (but not schedule them). They can then be edited to include the Return Policy, and then be launched. Note that if they are created online then the Return Policy will automatically be included in the new listings.

The Return Policy information that you have entered will be prefilled in items that are created online. It cannot be prefilled for items created in Sales Manager Pro, currently.
There will be a way to specify your default online return policy/handling time as the one to use for all launched items, prior to these becoming a requirement to post items on eBay.
(since the fields aren't in the SMPRO program.)
