I wrote a few different auctions through vendio's website. I did this so I could incorporate the Ebay Catalog. I received "Input Data Invalid" on all of the auctions that I wrote using this method. I was able to upload 8 auctions that I wrote using Sales manager Pro at the same time.
What do I need to change in order to fix this problem.
Can you try resubmitting a few of these? I checked the error message but it doesn't appear to be valid. There may have been a glitch at eBay at the time of launch that didn't recognize the catalog match that you did.
Please let us know if they now post without errors. If they do fail, and just to confirm, the only thing different about these items from the rest of yours is that you used the catalog match and posted them online?
Regards,
Chris
Thank You for the fast reply. I set these to launch tonight at 7:00 PM Central Time. We will know after that point whether or not they were good. I will post a reply on this tomorrow with the outcome.

Hello,
Can you let me know a few more details about how you create those items start to finish?
I saw the error message, clicked to view the details of the items, then simply clicked to preview and then launch them. All 3 went through without an error so there may be some kind of issue with how the items were created.
Are these the only items you have used the catalog match system on?

Chris,
Yes, I used a match from the catalog. I am assuming that is the issue. I even went back through and picked the product in the catalog a second time. I filled in all of the necessary boxes and information.

Hello Brian,
Do the listings still fail for you on the second launch (when viewing the error, previewing, and then launching again), or do they fail for you on the second launch as well as the first launch?

Nathan,
After they fail for the first time, it will not allow me to preview them. When I go back and re-submit or re-launch them the same thing occurs. This only happens on things that I write using the online site.
For example, last night an iPhone and an HTC HD7 were set to launch. I received an error. When I looked at them this morning, it would not let me preview. In the past I have used Preview to see what the error was. Because I couldn't see what caused the error, I just Changed the date and set them to re-launch.

Hello Brian,
It might be related to the browser you are using. Please first try clearing your browser cache and Vendio cookies and see if you are then able to preview the item.
If that doesn't help, please check with a different browser and let us know whether or not it gives you the same results. For example, if you are using Firefox try using Internet Explorer. Please let us know the results.

Nathan,
I tried all of the things you mentioned. None of them would allow me to view the preview. Also, the ones that were supposed to launch on Saturday, only one of them did. The iPod Touch did not. I also received a similar error for the GPS that is now there.
It seems as though this happens with any item that should be in the catalog.
Also, on a separate note. When I use sales manager pro for Ebay motors, it does not allow me to put a condition in. This causes another separate error. Is there a way to put the condition in under sales manager pro.

Hello,
I tried to locate the iPod touch and the GPS in your pending section but was unable to do so. Have you since deleted them or done something to launch them without error?
Unfortunately the Sales Manager Pro program was never built to offer support for the item condition on eBay Motors. This would need to be created using the regular fully featured online Sales Manger (or edited after upload from Pro.)

Hello,
I figured I would have to edit the ads after uploading them.
I have not deleted either of the auctions since. Is there anyway you can try to get them submitted? I also believe that there will be at least one error tonight. Probably with the iPhone and the Harry Potter Set.

Hello,
I don't see an iPod touch or GPS in your pending area with errors, and the iPhone and Harry Potter items aren't there with errors either. They all appear to have launched according to schedule.

Chris,
Hey, can you take a look at the 3 errors in my pending. They all show errors, and I can't fix them. I tried re-submitting, changing the catalog item etc.

Hello Brian,
AT&T iPHONE 3GS no contract with USB charger
Garmin Nuvi 205W with Mount and Charger
For both of the above items eBay is failing them because they have the word "charger" in the title, thinking that you need to list the item into the accessories category instead.
They want you use to use the word "bundle" instead, so users know it comes with the accessories. Once you edit the titles you should be able to resubmit them without error.
Regards,
Chris
