After noticing that my dashboard was taking a hit from international sales (price, shipping time), I decided not to sell internationally any longer. I changed my seller preferences on ebay to US only and when I create a listing in Vendio, I also choose the settings for US only.

Now it appears that I have some items that are in demand internationally and would like to offer them, on an individual basis,. to international buyers. If I change nothing in my ebay seller preferences, when I create a listing in Vendio, can I just choose my international shipping choices and then click the box that says "sells worldwide"? I guess what I'm trying to ask...If I choose international when I create a listing in Vendio, will that override my seller preferences in ebay for that particular listing?

Hello,

Yes, if you specify your ship to location as international *and* you specify international shipping options in your listing - this will override your default settings both here and at eBay. Your international buyers will be able to view/purchase this item no problem.

Once the item is live you can sign out of your own eBay account and view the item to confirm in the eBay Shipping and Payment section.

Sorry for missing your original post the other day.

Regards,
Chris

Well, I don't think this is what I was hoping it would be. There isn't a shipping calculator for international and then I see this....

Item location: Chesterfield, MO, United States

Shipping to: N. and S. America, Europe, Australia, Japan

Excludes: Africa, Asia, Central America and Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America

Hello,

Im really sorry, but the behavior does appear to have since been changed unfortunately.

I tested this at eBay directly as well to see if it was possible with their own tools, but unfortunately this is how my own item came out:

"Shipping to: Worldwide

Excludes: Africa, Asia, Central America and Caribbean, Europe, Middle East, North America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, South America "

Obviously it doesn't make sense to indicate that you ship Worldwide and then show all worldwide locations as places you also won't ship.

You'll want to edit your list at eBay to remove those blocks, but consider switching to the 'Buyer Requirements' section instead and using the following option:

"Buyers in locations to which I don't ship

Block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a location I don't ship to.

This requirement can help you avoid buyers who agree to purchase your items without realizing you don't ship to their location."

Regards,
Chris
