Have been with vendio since 2002 or 03 no problem. Had to update to windows 8 and it worked fine but it stopped working with windows 8.1 update. Only can do one listing and then have to save it. Smpro will stop and close then have to reopen and sync. So I got another unit with windows 7 and still hae the same problem.
tried the fixes on the web and still the same. Emailed multiple times. no response yet. About to start looking for new options

If you have a Windows 7 machine you may be in luck. While the offline Sales Manager Pro program is a very old program, last designed to work with Windows XP (which is no longer supported by Microsoft) - Windows 7 Pro has the ability to run "XP Mode."
In XP Mode you can run software that was originally designed for Windows XP.
The only way I have ever been able to run the old Pro software without Windows shutting it down randomly, is when you have NO Microsoft Office products installed. I don't know what update it was, but there's an update that was released a long time back for Office that has since caused Pro to close down randomly in newer versions of Windows. Windows thinks the program stopped responding (even when your in the middle of using it without any issues) and closes it down "for you."
Since most everyone has Office installed these days, it's nearly impossible to run the Pro program without running into that issue.
It would always be our suggestion to take this opportunity to switch to the fully featured version of the Sales Manager on the Vendio website instead, as the Pro program is very outdated at this point and doesn't support many of the latest features on eBay (like attributes.) With most users having fast internet connections these days, having a stripped down offline tool hasn't been in as much demand (which is why we stopped updating it years ago.)
That said, we understand some users just prefer it because that is what they are used to, so we have continued to offer suggestions/workarounds.
I personally can run the Pro program using my Windows 7 machine while in XP Mode, but cannot do so in regular Windows mode for 7 or 8 without Windows shutting it down randomly.
